LEAKY FRIDGE VENT

Finally found the lak in trailer, I hope. Water inside the bathroom after rain. Got on roof and found that the caulk around fridge vent had decayed. Cant really see under there easily.  Removed it and it was wet. 
Cover was not sealed except on outside.  Has 32 screw holes, only 5 were used! Cleaned and resealed. 



Be sure to check the seal around the vent on your trailer. The heat must degrade it. Plus poor install ti start.

put in a Maaxshade with light. It is led and has a shade. It's over a Maxxvent put in a couple of years ago. I went on the roof then and the old vent was brittle and breaking. Maxxvent is great.

I decide to start this blog after spending a lot of time on improving the build quality  of our trailer. Having been out of work since March  24th I've spent a lot of time doing improvements to it. Trailer build quality overall is pretty bad I think throughout the industry. I've done a lot to it and should of been documenting my work since the beginning.

GAS STATION

GAS STATION  Checked on our gas station and it didnt work and was wobbly. Took it apart box rubs against the switch which didnt work and 2 screws holding it together. Wonder if didnt fall off. Exposed metal on the edges. Installed a new waterproof  switch in waterproof  box. I know over kill but safer. Also put it inside the box with safety flip cover. We only use it for fuel for the generator.
